Purvi Shah is a meticulous and well-organized planner. She is a true professional who has the unique quality of being caring and light-humored during even the most overwhelming and high intensity phases of wedding planning. I had no doubt when I asked her to help us with our wedding that
she would do an excellent job, as I had observed her managing my best friend's wedding event the year before with grace and perfection.
My husband and I firmly believe that the big day was wonderful thanks to Purvi's hand in making it happen!

Without hesitation, I highly recommend Purvi Shah as a wedding coordinator. She did a fantastic job, covering my daughter's wedding on March 22, 2008.
Purvi covered all bases and was very instrumental in getting us a great florist Diane of Lily of the Valley in Milpitas and coordinated the other vendors very efficiently with and attitude of tolerance, variety and calm.

My wedding day went incredibly smoothly thanks to Purvi being my
day-of coordinator. While I did not hire her for the "full package" i
had absolutely no regrets regarding hiring her for day of
coordination. She truly stepped up in the month before the wedding
attending to the tiniest and most complex of details. She re-confirmed
every vendor multiple times. She made an intricate timeline to help
the flow of the day. (And this was a complex, outdoor wedding with
multiple sites of events and >15 vendors). She attended to last-minute
additions and details. She was calm and collected the day of the
wedding, coordinating flow, helping guests, helping the bride and
groom, and the entire event staff. I was relieved the week of the
wedding of all my stress because I knew it was her time to shine. I
have no reservation regarding recommending her for
day-of-coordination. Worth every penny and more. Would hire again. She
fulfilled all her promises and my expectations for my wedding day.
Because of her, I could enjoy the day (which was like a fairy tale).

Purvi was involved in the planning of our wedding as well as coordinating the wedding on the wedding day. Purvi is a very dedicated, patient, and creative person. She assisted us with our budget, all aspects of the wedding, but more importantly with our time management. Purvi provided professional and dependable vendors that she worked with in the past and helped evaluate the pros and cons of each vendor. She showed creativity and initiative when it came down to decorating. Overall, Purvi is a great person to have as a wedding planner and coordinator. She helped us out tremendously as our wedding planner, from providing ideas or vendors to tracking everything that had to be completed. As for the wedding day, everything was taken care of. I did not have to worry about anything nor did I hear of anything going wrong. She is very good at multi-tasking and getting things done. The wedding was perfect just as we had discussed and planned. My husband and I give our highest recommendation to Purvi as a wedding planner.

Purvi was incredibly professional. Leading up to the big day. Our wedding was at SF City Hall, which has an insane amount of red tape. She was incredibly organized and more importantly made sure our vendors were organized. On the day of the wedding, purvi made sure that the day ran smoothly. She dealt with last minute changes and fulfilled every last minute request that I had. She was also very behind the scenes, and not especially visible to the guests during the wedding events, which I appreciated. I would recommend her whole-heartedly.

Apart from choosing my husband I think the best decision I took for our wedding was to contact Avant Planner. We were really impressed with Purvi from our initial meeting, all the way through our wedding day. She is very friendly, professional and courteous, and she actually "listens" to her clients. Not only were the pre-wedding events planned and executed beautifully, but Purvi promptly addressed concerns and issues that arose on the big-day. I felt she plans all the ifs and buts before hand which makes it an easy task later on.
She offered insightful suggestions, that demonstrated her attention to detail as well as her ability to keep the big picture in mind. We got wonderful service from all our vendors as Purvi had an excellent working relationship with them.
