I have had the pleasure of being made up by both Radha and Darshini. Their approaches are very similar and consistant. In addition, both are very professional, accomodating, and focused.
Darshini: She did my makeup for my Engagement Party, Mayan, and Wedding Day. She always captures my personality. In fact, we rarely need to even discuss the look I am seeking. She just knows! Always prompt, enjoyable, and thorough.
Radha: Did my makeup for my engagement portraits. Also, very event appropriate. In fact, at this point of my engagement, I did not understand that I needed to wear a bindi, bangles, or how to tie a sari. She prepared me for everything (so generously!), and calmed my nerves. I felt wonderful that day. Not too heavily made up, but enough to highlight my features. (And I learned what to do to be prepared for future events).
Every time people see my wedding photos, they compliment my makeup. I am so grateful to have made such a great choice and recommend them to every bride who is looking to be her best self, rather than a typical Desi cookie-cutter bride.

I wanted to look gorgeous, but have a natural look, not look like someone airbrushed on a glamour shot. I told Radha this, and she was able to accomplish exactly that! She was very detailed, and took into consideration my skin tones, natural features, outfit and jewelry colors and hair style to recommend natural, yet creative looks.
She is also very organized, and works with you to plan the trial session, day of prep and makeup timing in perfect time.
Not only that, since she's married to a wedding photographer, she knows exactly what looks good in person as well as on camera!

I wanted to look gorgeous, but have a natural look. Radha did my wedding makeup, and accomplished exactly that. Her approach is very unique, and being married to a wedding photographer, she knows what looks good in person as well as on camera. Radha has a very creative touch, and pays close attention to your natural features, skin type, and the overall look you're going for in combination with your clothes, jewelry and hair to help you decide on your makeup style.
She is very thorough and organized, and has a great understanding of the pre-event prep, wedding day prep, and gets it DONE IN TIME, which makes a huge difference in starting our event off smoothly :)

Radha's techniques can be best described as fresh and clean. She understands the boldness needed in makeup application for a camera, while still keeping a natural look in person. She applied my makeup for my engagement photos, the wedding and reception. She was timely, professional, and knowlegdeable. My makeup looked fantastic! I definitely recommend using her!
