I looked long and hard for an appropriate makeup artist and I stumbled upon Nida (via HotShaadi) just a few weeks before my wedding. I love the way she did my make-up for the trial and she was even willing to tweak the makeup a little till I was comfortable. Nida was such a comfort to have around on the wedding day and she even made me look awake after I had stayed up the better part of the night. Her makeup was neither too much nor too little, just right and she did a great job balancing the makeup with the dress. Best of all, it felt good. I was very comfortable with how my skin felt and the makeup stayed on all day long (over 12 hours). She even did an amazing job on my mom and my aunt. They both looked great!

Nida did my bridal make-up on 7/18/09. She's very enthusiastic about make-up and has taken a lot of time to perfect her skills. I had tried several artists and the biggest reason that I chose Nida over others was her ability to handle criticism well (if you tell her you're not really sure something looks nice, she'll go extra length to make you comfortable with it).

Nida is simply awesome. I had two ceremonies, Hindu ceremony and Church ceremony. She did a fabulous job in making sure the make-up for both the days go along with my bridal wears(traditional Ghaghara choli and next day the white gown). I loved my eye makeup the most.
She was very punctual for both the days. I had other 6 bridesmaids getting make-up done as well with her. Amazingly make-up for ALL of us lasted the entire day,more than 12 hours!!! We are all extremely happy with her work and her professionalism. Highly recommend her, you wearing a white gown or traditional ghaghara choli, she will do a fantastic job.

Nida did my bridal makeup for my wedding on 08/01/09. My wedding was an early morning ceremony and Nida was there on time at 4 am to start the makeup session. She did a wonderful job on the makeup and made me look absolutely gorgeous on my special day. Also Nida's mum came over with her and helped me out with my jewellery and veil. I contacted Nida for a makeup trial for my four wedding events. She’s a perfectionist so we went over every detail necessary for the events and until I felt comfortable with my makeup. After the trial Nida even went out of her way to get me some beautiful hair pieces that matched my outfits and added that extra touch to my look. She made sure I had a different look for each event and that it complimented my outfits. She arrived on time, even woke me up when I slept in on my wedding day, and I was always ready for my portraits. Nida was professional, punctual, and she went the extra step to help me looking my best. I absolutely loved her work and I highly recommend Nida for any occasion! Nida did a trial session with me a couple months back and then did my engagement hair and make-up a few days ago. She did a great job with my make up and my hair and I got tons of compliments on it. She arrived a few minutes late to my appointment and was very apologetic. I personally didn't care that she was just a few minutes late, but it was nice to know that she thought about it and cared what I thought. She was very personable and made me feel really comfortable the entire time she worked on me! She is awesome and knows what she is doing and I highly recommend her!!!

Well, I love Nida Nafees's work. Never been her actual customer, I saw a valima reception bride, she looked fresh and bridal at the same time. I was having a hard time finding a make-up artist, when I came across Nida's profile on Hot Shaadi. I took a look at her portfolio and I decided to book her for my engagement because I saw that she had great skill in applying and blending the eye shadow and foundation. I found Nida to be very sweet, and direct. She'll tell you if something is not right for you, but she's also willing to listen to what you want for your special day. Another great thing about Nida is that she is very very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend getting a trial with her. Everyone thought I looked really cute on my engagement day as well :)

Nida did an amazing job of my hair and make-up for my sister's wedding reception. She really took the time to make sure not only that I looked beautiful, but that I was happy with how everything was.
