Really I can not express how much I thoroughly enjoyed working with Lauren!
I knew instantly when I first I met her and saw her portfolio that she, her approach and her photographs were really something all together different and truly artistic. The photos that she had at the wedding reception far exceeded my expectations. I had so many compliments (really raves) from everyone who saw them. I mean it when I say that her photos blew their minds. Actually, it expanded their minds on what photography can really do to tell a story.
Another thing that I absolutely loved about her approach is that she takes a lot of candids and she never interrupts the flow of the day’s activities. I can not tell you how many weddings I have been to where the bride and groom and/or their guests have to stop a special moment so the photographer can get a picture. Or worse even kind of re-enact the moment a little bit for the camera. This was never the case at our wedding.
Many of my guests (and recent brides themselves and their parents, siblings, etc) have a wedding album which is comprised of about 95% posed photos, not candids, which after seeing Lauren's work, they now regret. I will say that she has inspired many including myself to be more creative with the photos we take in our normal lives.
... to Lauren I want to say thank you, for being the best photographer a bride could ever hope for.

My pictures from Lauren are incredibly beautiful....she is a real artist and so very talented. I'm amazed how she didn't miss a single detail and yet remained inconspicuous so that people weren't even aware of the camera and they look so natural. Even in candid photography, from what I've seen, subjects are so often conscious of their picture being taken that they forget to have fun and just be themselves. Not so at my wedding. Every emotion was captured. I'm very pleased with the entire collection, and the slideshow was so well put together...I still get emotional every time I look at it. My guests loved it too.
During the times when Lauren's presence was more obvious (like during getting ready, or portraits), she was really fun and comfortable to be around. Her easygoing manner calmed me down and kept me laughing.
I would definitely recommend Lauren without reservation, to any bride who is looking for a true artist for her wedding pictures.
