Rachna did a fantastic job on all of our hands! It was my 39th birthday and my girl friends and I had a henna party! We were all so pleased with her work and would highly recommend her for any joyous occasion. She was fair on her pricing and very professional. My friends are a mix of Indians and non-Indians but she was able to come up with designs that made everyone happy. We were amazed at how fast she did them too! The handouts on how to treat your hand to prolong the life of your henna were also helpful as several people in our group had never had henna done before.

Rachna does amazing work! I was very happy with my wedding mehendi. I provided my own design and she was able to replicate it exactly. Being a non-Indian, I was nervous about getting henna done, because I didn't want it to look strange with my American wedding dress, but it was exactly how I wanted- absolutely stunning! Rachna was careful in making sure my own mother, as well as my mother-in-law were happy with the way it turned-out. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional mehendi artist. Rachna was amazing, very fair price and accommodating to my busy schedule, that is important to a stressed out bride!! her designs were BEAUTIFUL and she was sooo easy-going about the designs, whatever i asked her to do, she happily made that, even though it was not on the example picture. she was FAST!!! and thats also very important because you dont want to sit frozen there for hours and hours while getting fresh henna put on you! also, her mehndi didnt smell gross, as she makes it herself with only fresh ingredients... and lastly, IT CAME OUT EXTREMELY DARK BLACK!!!! VERY DARK AND STAYED FOR WEEKS!!! WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING when it comes to mehndi! whats the point of all that work and money if the color doesnt turn out right??? RACHNA is fantastic in every way!!!

Rachna was amazing. I held a henna party for my brother's bride and her friends. We are part Kurdish and wanted to incorporate traditional henna-ing of the hands into the Western wedding celebration. Rachna was a joy to have, she was professional, fun, worked quickly and produced the most amazing designs. She also was able to work with samples of more traditional Kurdish patterns for the bride. Everyone was pleased. Her communication before the henna party was very good as well. Excellent vendor!!

Thank god I had Rachna as my mendhi artist! She was punctual, friendly and worked for 4 hours straight to do all of my family and friends! Her designs are amazing and she works very fast, with her prices being very reasonable. The best part was enjoying myself and not having to worry about the menhdi not turning out well. She brings all of her own stuff, including a lemon mixture to ensure that the mendhi will come out dark. She is one of the most professional people you will meet, if you are looking for the best mendhi in the Bay Area, I would highly recommend Rachna, dont even bother looking anywhere else!!!

Rachna has worked with my family twice: my sister's wedding three years ago and mine earlier this year. Her mehndi talent is unquestionable; she is fast, thorough and very talented. But beyond that, she is such a pleasure to work with. Before the wedding, we met to review what I wanted and she provided great guidance after gathering what my likes and dislikes are. At the time of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about her at all. I just let her do her thing, and she was wonderful.
Dealing with wedding vendors can be a handful -- making sure they come at the right time/place and that they understand all that you expect of them. But with Rachna, you can just rely on the fact that she'll be where she needs to be when she needs to be there, and that she'll take care of what she needs to.

Since I am a Chinese, I told Rachna that I would like my henna has Chinese meaning to it. Rachna discussed the design with me and my husband and I decided to go with dragon and phoenix. Rachna is very talented. Although she has never done dragon and phoenix before, she managed to do a fantastic job. All my guests were really impressed with it. I would recommended Rachna to everyone.

I met Rachna at a bridal fair and am so happy we chose her to be the artist for my mehndi party. My mom and I went to her a few days before the actual party because we knew we wanted more elaborate work done and we wanted to be able to mingle without worrying about ruining the designs if they were done at the party. Amazing how quickly she does it, but she really knows what she's doing.
She was a huge hit at the party! Everyone agreed that she was a sweetheart and a great artist. Professional, friendly and down to earth. Such a big help to my mom and I too.

This girl is FAST! I hired Rachna on short notice for my bridal mehndi/henna. Not being from this area, I really didn't know who to hire but luckily I made the right choice. I had my hands, back of hands, and feet done by Rachna and she did an amazing job. What should have taken 4-5 hours to put on, she completed in 3 and it looked amazing! Afterwards, she did henna on our family and friends and also spent time explaining to everyone the history of henna. I loved the glitter she added to the henna - it made the pictures look so pretty. I used Rachna for my wedding last month in Woodside. And she was absolutely amazing. I combined my rehearsal dinner with mehendi. So Rachna did mehendi for me, my wedding party, and family. In under three hours, she was able to do beautiful designs for the whole group, and a very detailed and intricate design for me. I loved how it turned out on my wedding day.
She was also wonderful to work with -- I contacted her at the last minute. She was extremely flexible and was able to work within my schedule and other constraints. She came out with a big book of designs for people to choose from and also designed some on the fly based on people's requests. Plus, her prices can't be beat! My mom and aunt are still raving about her to this day.
I can't recommend Rachna enough!

We used Rachna last May for my wedding, a typically large and boisterous Telegu affair, and she couldn't have done a better job. Very laid back and flexible, easy to reach and coordinate custom designs and timings with (and I was doing that from across the country), able to handle the entire bridal party (9) plus all the aunts and cousins in a few quick hours, and beautiful designs all were pleased with to boot. The color came out really well too. Would definitely use her again for future events!
