Kalpana auntie did an amazing job at my wedding for me and my mom. My mom's friend recommended us to book kalpana auntie for bridal make up and hair and I'm so glad that I choose her. For all my events i looked different and beautiful it is all because of kalpana auntie she knew what i like or not. and i did get a lot of compliments about hair and make up. She was very calm and on time whenever i told her about different places to meet and she also ordered pizza for us at the bridal trial that was so sweet of her.. I will never forget all funs and talks we had at kalpana auntie's place.. My mom is also very thankful to her for all work and to make me look the best bride. I will keep her in my mind for future events and recommend her to others.

Kalpana Auntie was just perfect for my wedding. I am a perfectionist and can get nervous when things go not as planned. The key was to have a pleasant relaxing morning to start the Big Day and Kalpana Auntie was the best cup of coffee a bride can have! She was not pushy and rushed, but very serene and calm and loving like a mother. She told me to close my eyes and relax and before I knew it, we were finished! And if she saw a tiny bit of stress in my face, she knew how to get rid of it. Her makeup was light and not cakey. She is also very creative in the way she likes to drape a dupata or how to syle your hair. I would recommend Kalpana Auntie to all my friends!

Kalpana auntie did a fabulous job on my hair and make-up as well as my mom's. She is amazing. I received so many compliments the night of my engagement. Even though I was in Michigan, she was prompt with emails, phone calls and listened to what I wanted and helped me chose what would really suit me. I did not have the liberty of having a trial done as I reached NJ the night before my engagement, but I have to say she was patient with me and completely wonderful and knowing what I would want and what works well. She is professional and yet makes you feel like you walked into your auntie's place. I will definitely be back when I move there.

I received so many compliments on my hair and make-up at my wedding, Kalpana Auntie did an amazing job! We first met at her salon where we had a trial of possible hair styles and make-up options. Kalpana Auntie truly listened to my inputs when discussing the styles. We tried several options before choosing the perfect ones. On the day of the wedding, she arrived on time in both the AM and PM for my ceremony and reception hair/make-up. She also did hair/make-up for my Mother, who looked beautiful! Not only does Kalpana Auntie have the skills to make you look your best, but she also brings a calming presence to an otherwise hectic day. I don't think I need to add how amazing Kalpana aunties work is. She is professional, and can do amazing things with your hair. Her makeup is flawless without being cakey, and she is very receptive to suggestions. On the other hand she will gently dissuade you if your opinion lashes with her professional expertise. Most of all Kalpana auntie is who you want to be with you right before your big moment. Her presence is calming, and she genuinely cares about her clients. I had to get ready at 5am and forgot to eat breakfast. Kalpana auntie knew I would forget and made sure I had a cup of tea and some food before she finished my makeup. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. She made sure my day started off on the right foot, and THAT was priceless!

I first met her and I thought that she was also the most kindest person. She showed me her professional album and they were the most amazing pictures that I have seen. I checked out a lot of different hair and makeup artists for my wedding before I came accross Kalpana Aunty. She came highly recommended by my cousin who had used her services in the past. I must say, it was the best decision I had ever made for my wedding. She did an excellent job for both of my events. She made me look so beautiful for my Indian ceremony and absolutely elegant for my evening reception. I was wearing a white wedding gown for my reception and wanted Kalpana Aunty to give me a completely different look from the wedding ceremony. Needless to say, she totally transformed me to an American bride flawlessly. Also, I have highly sensitive skin and I prefer to use minimum make-up. Kalpana Aunty listened to all of my requests; which made it so much easier for me to work with her. She is so sweet and very professional. I was totally satisfied with her work and would definitely recommend Kalpana to anyone and everyone.

I had a south Indian ceremony which required my hair be worn in a long braid with flowers. We had a trial run to go over the styles for the morning and evening and she executed it perfectly on the wedding day. She also only books one wedding a day, so she will be at your wedding from beginning to end. She listens to what you want and accomodates everyones opinions(parents and aunts) and will recommend what she thinks is best. Kalpana is very sweet and easy to work with, almost like having one of your aunts pampering you on your wedding day!

Kalpana Aunty is not one of your normal Indian aunties :) She is a young & has a great outlook and knows what the young brides want and need for their wedding day and/or other events. We exchange emails and then we met in person for a trial where she tried different looks on me. When I started to break out a week before my wedding I contacted her and she gave me some very helpful home remedies to get rid of the acne & also to get my skin glowing for the wedding. On my wedding day she arrived on time & very prepared and started with a set-up and explained what she was going to do. She is great to work with as she actually listens to you and gives you feedback on what will look good and what will not. She gave me two totally different looks for my wedding and my reception. She brings all the things that are required to get a bride ready! I recommend Kalpana to anyone and everyone!
